CELEBRATION OF SACRAMENTS
BAPTISM:
Baptism is regularly celebrated every Saturday 1:30 PM and Sunday (except Palm Sunday) at 1:00 & 2:00 PM. Please contact the parish office to reserve a date or to reserve another mutually agreeable date. Parents are asked to participate in a preparation class before the sacrament is celebrated if they have not already done so. The class is usually held on the last Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. Please check the bulletin or call the parish office to verify the date. The class may be attended before the child is born.
RECONCILIATION (PENANCE)
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is celebrated on Saturday afternoons from 3:00 – 3:30 PM and following the 4:00 PM Mass. Monday-Saturday after the 9:00 AM Mass, and by appointment with the priests of the parish.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
First Holy Communion is celebrated following Easter each year for those children who have been prepared through our Faith Formation Program. The typical time for reception of the Sacrament is the Spring of second grade following two years of preparation. Please contact the Parish Office for more information.
CONFIRMATION
Confirmation is celebrated annually on a date scheduled by our Bishop, usually in the Fall. Candidates participate in a two year preparation program. For more information, please contact the Parish Office.
MATRIMONY
Couples preparing for marriage should contact the Parish Office to make an appointment with one of the priests to arrange for preparation. Ideally preparation would be a year in advance, but six months would normally be needed.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK
Anointing of the sick should be made available to anyone with serious illness. If you or a loved one are facing surgery or suffering from serious illness of any kind, please contact the Parish Office to arrange for the reception of the Anointing of the Sick. In an emergency, please call the Parish Office at any time.
HOLY ORDERS
Those interested in a vocation to the priesthood are encouraged to speak to one of the priests of the Parish or contact the Office of Vocations at the Diocese of Camden (856-756-7900).
