Let Us Help.
“Our Journey of Hope Cancer Care Ministry” at Saints Peter and Paul Parish is a ministry of hope. We can provide prayer, counsel, visits, and assistance focused on bringing God's hope to patients, their caregivers, family and friends.
Our heart is to serve, comfort and encourage men, women, and families fighting cancer with practical support and spiritual care. If you or someone you care about is impacted by cancer, let us be a partner in your fight.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist assist in the distribution of the most Holy Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Their duties include bringing the Eucharist to those who are unable to come to Mass due to illness. They serve at masses held at area nursing homes.
Funeral liturgy is the central liturgical celebration of the Chirstian community for the deceased. The Catholic Church encourages the celebration to be at a Funeral Mass, which is a source of spiritual consolation and strength. Families are welcome to take an active part in the liturgy, and the Parish Funeral Ministry is to help and guide families in their selections of scripture readings and hymns.
A group of parishioners gather together weekly to make prayer shawls and lap blankets for the sick, baby blankets, hats and scarves for the needy. Our prayer shawls and blankets are made with blessings, love and prayers. They are given for comfort warmth and support in time of need.
Anyone interested in joining this ministry, please contact Mary Ann at 856-589-1066 or contact the parish office.
Yarn donations are greatly appreciated!
Together In Prayer
We are a parish based, faith sharing group for Catholic LGBTQ+ adults, family, and friends within the Diocese of Camden and surrounding communities. We meet the last Sunday of each month from 6:30-8 PM at the Saints Peter & Paul Parish Center.
We invite all, from active Catholics, to those who may have left the Church because they have been unable to find acceptance as an LGBTQ+ Catholic.
We acknowledge and respect the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church, and offer a place where people can share their experiences both as Catholic and as members of the LGBTQ+ community.
We gather to reflect upon scripture, to pray, and strive to create an environment of a more loving and inclusive Catholic Church through dialogue, understanding and love. For additional information contact Christine at 207-240-5254.
Note: We will not meet the Sunday after Christmas, nor during the months of July and August.
PARISH NURSE MINISTRY
The Parish Nurse Ministry educates, advocates and supports the members of Saints Peter and Paul in their health related needs. We do screening, healthy programming, medication management and help the community to navigate the medical community.
You may contact the Parish Nurse by email (ParishNurseMinistry@churchofstspeterandpaul.org) for programming requests, support for non-clinical health related needs and volunteer opportunities.
Lectors (Readers) assist the celebrant at Mass by proclaiming the Word of God. Lectors read the first and second scripture readings and responsorial psalm.
Saints Peter and Paul Senior Group, will meet on Tuesday, February 8th at 12:00 noon in the Parish Center. After a delicious lunch, dessert and coffee or tea prepared by our luncheon committee, we will have two presenters.
The first presenter is Jane Sistek, our parish Nurse, who will explain her role to assist us in promoting our good health. The second presenter is Karen Meyer, Gloucester County Legislature Senior Coordinator, who will explain county benefits to the senior population.
The Omicron virus is alive and well. Masks and sanitizer will be available. Please remember your mug for coffee and books for our book table.
Ushers assist at Mass by welcoming and seating parishioners, taking up the collection, assist the families that offer the gifts and directing parishioners to Communion, passing out bulletins, and preparing the Sanctuary for the next Mass. Serving on special occasions such as Confirmation, Holy Days of Obligation, First Communion.
